Coolidge, AZ – The Firestorm Track & Field program travelled to Coolidge, AZ for the Central Arizona College Indoor Invite on Saturday. Among the many great performances was a junior transfer
Anthony Lieberaman in the 60-meter sprint setting a new program record of 7.01. He was followed close behind by
Nadayr Menard (7.03) and
Markeese Wright (7.05).
Other notable performances included
Brenton Szymanski in the 400 meters (50.11) setting a new personal best, and
Thaddious Thurman and
Daniel Kpeh in the 60-meter hurdles running season best times of 8.83 and 8.86 respectively. In all, there were thirteen new personal bests set within the sprints and hurdles group.

Next On the Schedule
The Firestorm will travel next week to Glendale Community College for the Guacho Multi's and Invite Friday and Saturday February 6 and 7. Multi events begin Friday at 1:00pm and the Invite begins Saturday at 9:30am.
