Closer But Just Short

Mesa, AZ- Playing for the second time in five days, Arizona Christian played Benedictine-Mesa much closer but came up just short 5-4 on Tuesday evening.  Sophomore Brett Aker made his Firestorm debut by throwing five scoreless innings.  Junior Brent Smith drove in two runs.
