Farrell Named GSAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Glendale, Ariz.- On Monday, the Great Southwest Athletic Conference (GSAC) announced the GSAC Players of the Week and Arizona Christian's Casey Farrell was selected as the Baseball Pitcher of the Week presented by Athletic Solutions.

Farrell, a Warrenville, IL native, had a great standout performance on Wednesday night against Bethesda by pitching 5.0 innings, striking out seven batters, allowing zero runs, two hits, and one walk. The pitcher helped the Firestorm shutout the Lion Angels, 18-0.

Farrell improved his record to 7-3 with an ERA of 1.33, the lowest on the team.
