Glendale, Ariz. - Marques Titialii was selected to the 2024 NAIA Baseball All-America Third Team according to a release from Kansas City, Missouri earlier this afternoon. The senior left fielder was one of three GSAC players (Hope International's JJ Cruz and Jessup's Trey Furrey) to earn a spot on a national team. He is the first Arizona Christian player to qualify for an national honors since Brent Smith made the Honorable Mention list in 2019.
In his third season with the Firestorm, Titialii led the ball club in several offensive categories including batting average (.375), on-base plus slugging (1.251), hits (87), RBI (89) and home runs (26). His RBI and home run totals each topped the GSAC standings and his 89 RBI also finished fifth in the NAIA rankings. The 2024 All-GSAC and Gold Glove left fielder did not commit a single error in 85 fielding chances (81 putouts, four assists).
In 57 game appearances, Titialii demonstrated his enviable blend of consistency and explosiveness with 47 that featured at least one hit, a 17-game hitting streak and 26 multi-hit games. His postseason presence was remarkable in its own right with seven multi-hit games, 19 RBI and 11 runs in Arizona Christian's impressive fight for their first Red Banner.
The Seattle, Washington native closed his three-year career with 12 of the Firestorm's program records.

Titialii wrapped up his collegiate career amongst some of the all-time greats in Arizona Christian University Athletics history. While his future is yet to be seen, the newest Firestorm student-athlete to be hailed as an NAIA All-American is sure to make waves on the professional scene.Â
